The film's plot is based on a real story of Oksana Boturchuk, a Ukrainian track-and-field athlete and Paralympic champion of 2008, five-time silver and bronze winner at Summer Paralympics of 2008, 2012 and 2016.

Postmodern Digital team developed VFX for Pulse feature film.

We got completely involved in the process and worked together with Sergii Chebotarenko, a film director, from storyboard to final shot. Our team created previz and found solutions of how to shot extras at the stadium.

CG-stadium, an exact copy of The Bird Nest Beijing National Stadium, was created especially for the film. We developed solutions that allow us to integrate Beijing Stadium in a frame instead of NSC Olympiyskiy.

Pulse sports drama reveals the story about young Ukrainian track and field athlete Oksana Boturchuk. Due to a terrible car accident, the girl suffers grave injuries and almost loses her eyesight. However, the girl is not going to give up, and she wins a gold medal at the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing.
